With origins in Tunisia, your FH Fouta is a multi-purpose flatwoven textile made for a life without borders. Our collections are designed in our studios in Tunis, São Paulo and New York and handwoven on traditional wooden looms by master artisans from high quality reclaimed natural fibers. Because each Fouta is woven by hand, you may notice slight imperfections or irregularities in shape, size or color. These features will never affect the overall aesthetic of the product or its ability for use as intended. We like to think of these features as the unique handprint of each piece–a beautiful reminder that your Fouta is one-of-a-kind. 

Your Fouta folds up effortlessly, dries quickly, and is at home seaside, poolside, and everywhere in between. We like our Foutas tied around our waists, in our carry-ons, and adorning our sofas and beds. They’re an ideal gift known for beautifully adapting to a multitude of situations. 

A few ideas:

• Gently dry sensitive skin or hair after a bath or swim.
• Draped over your table, bed, or sofa.
• Tucked into a carry-on for on-the-go blanket, shawl, scarf or sarong.

Because we work with only sustainable reclaimed yarn, each collection is limited-edition. When it’s gone, it’s gone.

We like to bring you new sizes and materials several times a year. The Signature Fouta measures 2x1m (6.5x3.2ft); it's akin to a throw blanket or beach towel in size. The Big Fouta measures 2.15 x 1.50m (7x5ft) and is great for topping beds, spreading out for picnics and accommodating multi-person snuggles.

To maintain your FH Fouta’s shape and fiber integrity, wash by hand or machine wash on cold on a delicate (no spin) cycle using mild, liquid laundry detergent. Do not use softener. Hang to dry. Washing in cold water is better for your Fouta and for the environment, reducing color fading while using less energy. Finish with a warm iron if desired.
